Join us this summer for an unforgettable experience at the Youth Centers of Orange, a program of The HUB OC! Our summer camp provides local kids with a safe, fun, and enriching place to spend their days. From exciting games and creative activities to inspiring guest speakers and awesome field trips, there’s always something new happening.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make this summer amazing! As a volunteer, you’ll engage with kids through play, assist with daily activities, and help create a joyful and welcoming environment. Whether you're leading a game, sharing a laugh, or lending a helping hand, you’ll be making a meaningful impact.

Volunteer Role Details:

Support camp staff in daily programming and activitiesInteract positively with children and help ensure a safe, inclusive environmentAssist with games, crafts, and group activitiesOpportunity to plan and lead special activities.  Please let us know if you have a unique talent, hobby, or skill, we’d love for you to share it with our campers

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years oldMust complete Live Scan (background check) prior to volunteeringMust complete Mandated Reporter Training prior to volunteeringAbility to work collaboratively with staff and engage respectfully with youth

Scheduling:

We are seeking up to 5 volunteers per day throughout the summer

Dress Code:

Closed-toe shoes requiredComfortable, activity-appropriate clothingClothing must not display indecent, lewd, or offensive language or imagery

Join us for a fun-filled day at the beach as we support our amazing camp leaders and campers at beautiful Newport Dunes! We’re looking for enthusiastic, responsible volunteers who are ready to jump in (literally!) and help create a safe, joyful, and memorable experience for everyone.

What to Expect:
Volunteers will assist camp leaders with activities, engage with campers, and help supervise water play throughout the day. The kids will be splashing around on inflatable slides and tackling floating obstacle courses, so extra eyes and helping hands are essential.  This is a hands-on role ... yes, you’ll be getting in the water, so come ready to be active, supportive, and have fun!

Special Skills Welcome:
If you have experience as a lifeguard, swim coach, or swim instructor, we would especially love your support!

All volunteers must be 18 yrs or older.

Event Details:
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Newport Dunes (please meet on-site)

What to Bring:

Sunscreen Bathing suit and/or comfortable clothing Towel and water Positive energy!

Parking Information:
Volunteers may park in the Newport Dunes parking lot. Please pay for parking upon arrival.  Parking will be reimbursed.
